The standard shape of the standard mirror is round and rectangular, but LedStore can also provide you with the mirror of your dreams in the shape of your choice. LED reflectors with plenty of light output
Our spotlights are backlit all around and bring mainly indirect light into the space when illuminated through the wall. Light is indirect when the light source is not visible when viewed directly. The larger the mirror’s circumference, the more light it also gives off. For example, behind a 60×80 cm mirror is 2.7 metres of LED strip. If you go up to a larger size, for example 90×120 cm, the perimeter of the mirror is lit by about 4.1 metres of LED strip, which means there is plenty of light in the space.
At LedStore’s customer site, much of the lighting in the bathroom comes indirectly through the wall from behind a fair-sized mirror. In addition, the ceiling is illuminated by high-quality spotlights. This mirror does not have a milk glass edge, so all the light is directed through the wall and ceiling. The light from the bottom of the mirror illuminates the entire worktop beautifully. The colour temperature of the light in this mirror is 4000 Kelvin neutral white.
The round light mirror is a perfect match for the round sink in the toilet. The white wall reflects the light evenly into the space and, in addition, two spots have been installed on the ceiling above the level, so that there is enough light from above to illuminate the face. The light mirror adds airiness and a sense of space.
Do I choose a lighted mirrored cabinet or a lighted mirror?
The light mirror is an alternative to mirror cabinets in bathrooms and toilets. The choice between a backlit mirror and a mirror cabinet often comes down to the need for storage space. If the space has a wide sink and the possibility to install, for example, open shelves, a light mirror can be installed instead of a mirrored cabinet to open up the space. If storage space is limited, a mirrored cabinet is often a good choice.
Another thing to consider is the type of lighting required. Mirror mirrors and backlit mirrors have very different types of light. In a mirrored cabinet, a small area, for example 55 cm wide, is often illuminated with a high-intensity spotlight, such as a stem light. The light is bright and not well suited for night-time lighting, for example. In a light mirror the lighting is indirect which is a softer way of lighting. LedStore’s light mirrors are also dimmable, and the light “remembers” the last light level and temperature set. This makes it easy to get dim, warm lighting at night.
Light mirror design and light source interchangeability
LedStore’s LED floodlights are made of 5mm thick HD glass and have metal frames. The HALO and MOON series mirrors have a 3 cm wide milk glass frame. A moisture-protected LED strip behind the mirror provides glare-free illumination towards the viewer, as well as wall reflection around the perimeter. The colour and gloss level of the wall behind the mirror have a significant impact on the light output. All mirrors are moisture-proof to IP55. The surface of the mirror has dimly lit touch buttons. Buttons allow you to dim the light, change the colour temperature and use the defrost heater on the mirror surface.
The light sources, or LED strips, can be replaced in the mirrors using standard tools. If necessary, the transformer can be replaced by a suitably qualified person, which means that the light mirror is very durable and maintainable. Custom-made your dream mirror
Designing a custom-made light mirror according to your wishes adds to the comfort of use. The custom-made mirror edge can be almost any shape, and the frosted edges can be made as wide as you like, or left out altogether. We can make custom-made star or cloud-shaped light mirrors that will add a stunning touch to your bathroom or wardrobe. We let the AI design a couple of lightbox images for us, and we got feasible results.
When products are made to order as individual items, production is of high quality and unique. Moreover, transport distances are not long and the supply chain remains well managed.
